Death is a taboo topic that we prefer not to speak of. It’s uncomfortable. It’s confronting. The truth is that many of us fear death, even as Christians. Hebrews 2 gives us wonderful hope in the face of death, for we're reminded that Jesus came to destroy the devil and deliver us from the fear of death.
