The atonement stands at the very centre of Christianity. Central to the gospel is the belief that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin, offering salvation to all who trust in him. But what did Jesus' death actually accomplish? More specifically, for whom did he die? Was His atoning sacrifice made for the whole world, or was it for God’s chosen people? And why does this matter to us today? In this third message of our series on Reformation theology, we’ll explore the 'L' in TULIP: Limited Atonement.
