It’s wonderful to be found. It’s wonderful to be home. But before you can be found, before you can be home you must first realise you are lost. In Luke 15, Jesus tells three powerful parables, where God celebrates lost sinners coming home to him.

Introduction: Lost in a far away land…

  a.     The Nature of Sin (11-13)

  e.     Am I lost?

 

3.    The lost older son (25-32)

 a.     Anger? (25-29)

 

b.     Joy? (30-32)

 

c.     Am I lost?

 

4.    Application

  a.    Thank God for his grace

 

b.    Seek for the lost
