What we hope for is what we will long for. But very often as Christians we fix our eyes on the things of this world instead of the world to come. Our hope are too small and short-sighted. So it means we invest in the wrong things. In Corinthians 5:1-10, Paul reminds us of our certain hope: of glorious resurrection bodies, of being with Christ. And he shows us how that transforms how we live now: as we press on in seeking to please him despite the sufferings and the setbacks.
