Often we find it so hard to be bold in sharing our faith. We don’t want to be labelled intolerant, or insensitive. When the work of evangelism is tough, it’s so
easy to give up. When persecution comes, we wonder whether proclaiming the gospel is really worth suffering for at all. Today’s passage reminds us of three truths about gospel proclamation we need to be reminded of:
1) The Gospel is to be Proclaimed – Persuasively (1-4)
2) Persuasive Gospel Proclamation Provokes Intense Opposition (5-9)
3) Persuasive Gospel Proclamation Provokes Intense Searching of the Scriptures (10-15)
