When the gospel is boldly preached, it inevitably provokes a response. As we call people to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus, it challenges the status quo. Some people respond with hostility. Others search the Scriptures and believe. Either way, our preaching provokes a response. If the gospel turns our world upside down, will we still preach it?
