Some things in life are so important that they just must be remembered. We set reminders so that we won’t forget. Because forgetting something important, like your wedding anniversary, can have disastrous consequences. In 1 Corinthians 15 we’re reminded of the thing of supreme importance, which alone can save us: the gospel of Christ. For if we forget the gospel, everything else we do will be in vain.
