This episode, following an aging gangster trying to find his son, has the spine to ask, "If Batman had been there, would The Godfather have had a happy ending?" The answer is: kinda, yeah. But then again, what saves the guy is the power of brotherly love. This is one of those episodes where it's less of a Batman story and more of Batman telling people to knock it off and talk to each other.
