Tales of Horror continues with Hellraiser, written and directed by Clive Barker and based on Barker’s 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart. The film marks Barker’s directorial debut and the plot involves a woman who discovers the newly resurrected, partially formed, body of her love/brother-in-law. Soon she starts killing for him to revitalize his body so he can escape the demonic beings known as the Cenobites that are pursuing him after he escaped their sadistic underworld. Tales of Horror is also about highlighting horror fans and horror podcasts and that’s why the team is joined by Leo of the Films and Fermentation podcast as well as Jason of the Dads From The Crypt podcast for this journey into the deepest corners of pleasure and pain.
