JP just had total knee replacement 10 days ago -- and let me tell you I underestimated how hard it would be. The pain, the need, the exhaustion - the unknown! Having gone through this with him it made me really take a hard look - not only at myself & how I committed to caring for my husband but also how I care for myself during such a challenging time.
