Our darkest battles are the ones that we fight in darkness and silence. I know that it is normal to not want to share hard parts of your life as you may be embarrassed and think you are one of the only ones going through it, but the truth is, there is someone out there going through something similar. We have all missed bills, choose the wrong things for ourselves and punish ourselves for things that are out of our control. It is important to remember that while you may pass through this place and emotions, it is not a place where you need to live and spend ever day saddened by something that has happened in the past that, but know that once you identify the patterns and behaviors that you are doing and that make you stay there, you can slowly change those and begin to dig yourself out of darkness.
