Shari Kuhlman, a proud Marine momma, joins me on Celebrate the Struggle today to chat about her desire to help her soldier and others the best way that she can. After her son enlisted into the Marines two years ago, she immediately started brainstorming ways to help on the home front. She then decided to start her own nonprofit organization Veterans Honor Walk. She and her husband, Chris, work to find veterans in need or other veteran nonprofits that she can help. She then organizes and hosts fundraising events to raise money for those in need.
"You got to have a support system. Reach out to others around you." Shari's advice is so valuable and oh so necessary for us all. She is clearly working hard to reach out to others for herself, but also to continue creating a community of support. How admirable! You rock Shari!
