Description

In Episode 20 of The Roar of Judah podcast entitled “The Dreamer,” host Juma Salim dives into Genesis 37 (KJV) to examine Joseph’s life and the lessons we can learn about guarding our dreams, navigating betrayal, and trusting God’s higher purpose.

We see how Joseph’s brothers tried to stifle his destiny by throwing him into a pit and selling him for silver, an act reminiscent of Jesus’ betrayal. Their envy and hatred meant they would rather see Joseph disadvantaged than successful. Yet, through all the setbacks, God orchestrated Joseph’s journey from the pit to prominence, reminding us that no struggle is ever wasted.

If you’ve faced opposition or betrayal, this episode will encourage you to remain patient (James 1:4), trust wholeheartedly in God’s plan (Proverbs 3:5–6), and rest in the assurance that He will bring you to your “expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11).
