VicGrid (a Victorian Government Entity) has been given the task of developing a plan for defining Renewable Energy Zones in the state, and planning the transmission network to support the delivery of that power. This is already a fraught problem in some areas of the state, but they are undertaking a consultation process that attempts to start with the basics of a plan and develop a community view beyond the simple engineering.
