It's so tempting to be dishonest at times, particularly if you have fear of rejection, disappoval, or abandonment. Telling lies then becomes a tool to preserve safety, but when does it begin to do the opposite? And actually break connection, not only with others but with ourselves? Today I talk about how lying showed up in my life for many years, and the ways I decided to start practicing honesty that helped me get to the place I am today - and can for you too. There are way more benefits to owning your mistakes and taking responsibility for your choices, regardless of - but still unfortunately - that it may hurt someone else, which ultimately may hurt you. I hope this episode inspires more honesty for you. So much love, Erin
