Description

You won't want to miss this episode of GRADitude as we are joined by DPT and financial advisor, Will Butler!  From an early self-discovery of skills related to networking, business, and helping others, he walks us through his PT school experience and journey towards a non-clinical focus.  Despite the overlap of finance and clinical practice, Will talks about how he noticed the gap of language and understanding between the two, and how he decided to work on it himself.  In learning and working towards a license in financial services, while being a full time physical therapist, Will talks about the needed transition in both time management and communication regarding personal finance.  Now, as a licensed financial advisor, Will strives to not only grow his skills but also educate other students and business-owning clinicians.  As he shares with us his most commonly asked questions, he also shares personal pieces of advice about taking on more and not being afraid to fail early, often, but also forward.  Tune in to this episode for some real advice they don't always teach you in school about not being afraid to take on what you want.
