Renger van der Zande is teamed with Sebastien Bourdais in the IMSA WeatherTech Series racing a Cadillac GTP car for Chip Ganassi Racing. We caught up with him for this interview during a cold and rainy press day for the 2023 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. Besides being a multiple winner at the Rolex 24hrs of Daytona, Renger has successfully competed in multiple classes around the world. In this interview, Renger talks about the differences to the new (for this year) hybrid powered Cadillac compared to last year, gives props to his teammate in regards to their race at Long Beach last year and talks about his thoughts on what the strengths of his race car is and how he wants to get back to the winner’s circle. A true gentleman and supremely talented race car driver; it didn’t take too much longer before he found himself in Victory Lane at Laguna Seca Raceway in May. Enjoy!
