Description

Samantha Tan is a Canadian race car driver in the GT America Powered by AWS professional sports car racing series. We caught up with her at the media luncheon for the 2024 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach where she was getting ready to race a BMW GT4 car and has a cool story to tell about how she got to where she is today. She came home from that event with two good results – a fifth in Race 1 and a podium second place in Race 2 in the GT4 class. She’s won numerous championships over her career and she also fills us in on the preparation she goes through to get ready for an event. She’s had a competitive season and has multiple wins and podium finishes in the Pro-Am class with her co-driver (Neil Verhagen) in a BMW GT3 car. Her next race is fast approaching – the Indianapolis 8-hour scheduled for October 3-6, 2024. Enjoy! P.S. For more information on Samantha Tan, please visit her website at: https://www.st-racing.org/
