Description

This week we are highlighting our June Advocate of the Month — Matilda Hadzic!

We started this initiative within our coalition to give our programs the opportunity to showcase and celebrate the amazing advocates that they have on staff. Advocacy is a difficult job and they are such a fundamental part of supporting survivors, so we wanted to make sure that our advocates across New Mexico know that we see them and value their hard work and dedication to the cause.

Matilda was nominated by Sonya Romero of Esperanza Shelter. Read more about her in our NMCADV Spotlight

You can learn more about Esperanza at esperanzashelter.org or follow them on Facebook at facebook.com/esperanzasheltersantafe or Instagram at instagram.com/esperanzashelterinc

You can also access their Crisis Line, which is 1-505-473-5200 or 1-800-473-5200.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, there is help available. Please call The Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or visit their website on a safe device at www.thehotline.org.
