This week we are highlighting our June Advocate of the Month — Alexis Wright!
We started this initiative within our coalition to give our programs the opportunity to showcase and celebrate the amazing advocates that they have on staff. Advocacy is a difficult job and they are such a fundamental part of supporting survivors, so we wanted to make sure that our advocates across New Mexico know that we see them and value their hard work and dedication to the cause.
Alexis was nominated by Erika Wright, Executive Director of Carlsbad Battered Family Shelter for her work as an advocate in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Read more about her in our NMCADV Spotlight!
