Quotes:

“Each step of the way a little bit of your dignity is stripped from you. Starts with your personal belongings, goes to your hair, then goes to your identity, and each process you are stripped of your values and your identity.” - Travis Richey

“The human mind tends to look for things that are the most painful and they remember those things. When you’re little you don’t cross the street because you can get hit, you don’t touch the stove because it’s hot. Those aren’t pleasant experiences so the brain is wire that way, to remember those things.” - Travis Richey

“The biggest problem that most of us have is believing that we shouldn’t have one.” - Travis Richey

“My experience gave me the perspective that I can turn my mess into a message.” - Travis Richey
