Today’s episode builds on our previous episode
about the Arthur Brooks and Oprah Winfrey book: 'Build the Life You Want' – The Art and Science of Getting Happier. The authors brought a ton of information about emotions that we didn’t have time to cover so today’s episode will go deeper into what they have to say.

As I read the book, I broke up the emotional self-management sections into 6 steps which can be a path to make us much happier as a person freeing us from being managed by your feelings. Yay!!

At the end of the discussion about emotions, Oprah says this: “…today, everything I do, anything I make, any suggestion I float or advice I give – it’s all about the offering. If it works, it works. If it’s accepted, it’s accepted. If not, I have lost nothing because I had no attachment to a particular result.” This she says has made her a much, much happier life and she wishes the same for all of us.
