Description

I'll be releasing a Midnight Reflections episode once a month alongside the normal episodes I'll be uploading. It just makes sense to off load a lot of what's going on in my life and through my head in an episode like this. It keeps me sane in a lot of ways.

With everything going on right now it can sometimes feel overwhelming. Writing a book, recording podcasts and filming online courses, all along with the normal university work during my last semester and needing to write my bachelor thesis.

And when you're focusing on so much it's easy to feel distracted and distorted, specially because I had to move from my old flat and stay at a friends place before finding another one and having to move in the coming week.

I've seen a lot of change in me the past 4 months, and I attribute that to everything I'm doing.

Writing a book is a process that will definitely have anyone question themselves in ways they didn't think they could.

And this podcast itself is changing me in ways I really didn't expect either, reflecting on my own reflections as I prepare my voice to be subjected to the eyes, or rather ears, of anyone willing to observe and listen. It shifts your perspective of yourself, your thoughts and actions to an entirely different level.

Now that my narrative is public to anyone and everyone willing to listen, I feel that much more motivation to live true to myself and the words I'm saying, and it's pushing me in ways I really didn't see coming.

Just seeing everything you promise yourself come to life in front of you is entirely new feeling, a feeling I'm not too familiar with, but a feeling I love. The ability to both create, and share, which is something we're all capable of.

Alongside the books I'm reading and the things I'm constantly trying to understand and give structure to because of writing my own book, it all feels.. different.

It's not only the experiences we go through that teach us, it's our ability to reflect on those experiences that really carves the lesson into our souls.

I let that all out in this episode, plus a few experiences from my past and what I took from certain books I read throughout my life.

This journey is only just beginning.

We're in for a ride.
