Welcome back to Ashley's Alcove- your corner of comfort and conversation! In this week's episode, I speak upon restorative rest, meditation techniques, and how they can benefit your daily routine. I, like many others, am guilty of pushing myself through life until I reach burnout...until recently. I've decided to actively pursue restorative rest in my weekly schedule, and I created this episode in hopes you do, too. It's hard to give yourself permission to do...nothing...but is it really that bad of a thing to do? With practice, I think we can learn to integrate rest into our daily routine, in turn increasing productivity. Just a thought I've been having lately.
