Janay was diagnosed with Lupus nephritis stage four in 2004 at fifteen years old and since then has suffered many co-morbidities and surgeries. Her journey lead her to start Lupies Unite so people with lupus can have a voice and be heard. We talked about her journey with lupus and how she started a mentor program from newly diagnosed Lupies and their loved ones.
