We never knew the power of connecting with people until the past couple of months when Areezo and myself connected via Linked in. We were both going through a similar journey and posting similar posts questioning the role of architects and designers in contributing to the health of our society. After exchanging a couple of messages we started talking more deeply about the things we really care about not knowing that both of us have already started our own research and brainstorming ideas on what can be done. When both our ideas got mixed together; Design to Connect was initiated to create a space for every person that questions things like us to be connected. Design to connect is where we can join together as a community to question, critique, and rethink our current ways of doing and imagining architecture. It is a place where we can use the power of conversation to tackle deep-rooted issues in the world of architecture and design and how its impact is shaping our social norms. A place where we can reflect and come up with better solutions that are impactful and are kind to the environment and humanity. ****
So let's dive in. Let's start connecting and use it for creating something better!
