Description

About one in every eight Nigeria families live with at least one form of disability. Statistics show that about 25millions of Nigerians have a disability and they are faced with a different number of abuse, molestation, lack of access to health care, accommodation among others. It's very expensive and difficult to live without support from families or the government. The situation in Nigeria is not encouraging as disabled people most times struggle for what should have been free for them, the society is meant to be equal across the board.
We all talk about a just and fair world but the reality is we will never have a fair and just world until we have an all-inclusive world. Inclusivity demands that everyone across all spectrums is considered before all policies and decisions are made in the society, Inclusivity also demands that the practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those having physical or mental disabilities or belonging to other minority groups.
It is very clear today more than ever that the decision we make or fail to make will greatly impact the generation to come either positive or negative which begs the question are we making the right decisions? Do we truly want a fair and just world like we all claim we do or is it just all talks?
