In Psalm 46 the author describes the issues we face in life as the earth giving way and the mountains being thrown into the heart of the sea.
Can you relate to having your world turned upside down?
In the midst of the chaos, the writer directs us back to God and his compassion, forgiveness and support. He writes, "God is our Refuge and Strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear."
If you haven't already realized, it's time to face the reality that there is no place to live where one is outside the possibility of a hardship, crisis and even a disaster happening at any given time.
The next storm of life is coming, and you are directly in its path. This week as we continue our message series "Not Just on Sunday", we're turning to God's Word to see how God prepares us and offers shelter for the coming storms.
