At the very end of King David’s reign, he faced a massive challenge: gathering resources to build the temple of the Lord.
David knew he couldn’t do it alone. He donated a huge sum and then asked the people, “Now, who is willing to consecrate themselves to the Lord today?”
What happened next was incredible. The leaders and the people rallied together—united by God’s plan and purpose for the temple.
