This past Sunday marked a special moment at CrossWalk Church as Staff Minister Phil Bischoff is officially installed as the new leader of our Midtown campus.
Although Phil has been a faithful part of the CrossWalk ministry for many years, this is a new beginning—a new chapter for him, his family, and the Midtown community.
We see a similar turning point in Genesis 9, where Noah steps onto dry land after 120 years of warning and 375 days aboard the ark. It was a moment of faith, hope, and a fresh start.
As we continue our message series in Genesis, we will explore the fresh start God gives Noah and the world.
New beginnings rarely happen in a bubble. They come with a backstory—often marked by pain, hardship, and waiting. But in God’s hands, even those broken chapters become the foundation for renewal.
God is always writing the next chapter—come be part of the story. Let's come together and worship and reflect on the next steps of faith God may be placing in front of us.
The sermon entitled "A New Beginning" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church, in part of the “Genesis: the birth of God's people" message series.
