Description

In this message, we will be spending time with a woman named Martha. She was a bit stressed about Jesus coming over to her house for growth group. She was frustrated with her sister for not helping get things ready and was starting to lose it (a bit).

This week at CrossWalk Church in Phoenix, we're finishing our message series from "Grinchmas to Christmas: Finding Joy in a Season of Stress"; we'll see how easily we can get distracted from the true meaning of Christmas.

Jesus encouraged Martha to slow down, calm down and to lean into him and his promises. It was life changing for her, and can be for you as well.

We hope to connect with you at one of our worship services as we take a deep breath and get some tools to help with the "Christmas stress".

Song highlight of the week: "Love is Here", by Laura Story and Steven Curtis Chapman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQu0hQb2GSE

This song celebrates Jesus coming to earth, saying Love is here, and that there is a new song, a new hope, and a new joy because of him, our Savior.

“Navigating Being Distracted” sermon was done by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church, in part of the “Grinchmas to Christmas” message series.
