This time of year, we spend so much time getting ready for Christmas—hanging decorations, buying gifts, and preparing our favorite holiday meals.
But while we prepare for Christmas, God is preparing us for something even greater. He wants our hearts ready for the arrival of His Son, Jesus.
So how does God prepare us for Christmas?
This week at CrossWalk Church, we are continuing our message series entitled, "Preparations." We will explore the gifts that God gives us before Christmas that get us ready for Christmas.
God's gift of peace isn't necessarily peace with ourselves, or world peace, or peace and quiet. It's peace with him. We’ll discover how peace with God allows us to approach him. It calms our hearts and minds. And, it empowers us to be agents of peace in a chaotic world.
Let’s prepare for Christmas, together, by holding firmly to God's gift of peace.
