Description

Below is the timeline of events that forged Christopher Hannon to the man he is today:

1. Parents divorced in 2011, beginning with my father picking me up from a date with my 7th grade girlfriend, handing me my mother’s ring and saying it was up to me to get them back together. Between 2011 and 2014 we moved 17 times for an average of a new home every three months; including 5 different school changes. There is a lot I learned through what a pretty traumatic and turbulent divorce was ultimately. Mainly, how to deal with change, overcoming poverty, and self-reliance and at the end of the day working my butt off and having no options to give up or take breaks.

2. In 2015, going into my senior year of high school, my English teacher challenged me to apply for a scholarship for a program called Outward Bound. Outward Bound is a leadership development program for young adults and teenagers in a wilderness environment for an extended amount of time. I wound up winning, beating the rest of the applicants at the school, and went on a 2 week expedition through the back-woods of western Maine on the Appalachian Trail.

3. I was 17, very angry and in a bad place, ready to do some illegal activities to break out of the poverty we were in, went to a meeting in which the CEO of that company was there. My mom made me go introduce myself (even though I didn’t want to) and the following conversation would actually change the entire course of my life in a very real way. This man talked with me specifically and was incredibly encouraging. The part that changed everything was him telling me to read “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie three times in 30 days. I did just that, and the impression that left on me turned the negative trajectory of my life into the one I am on now.

4.  After I met the CEO when I was 17, I began to build my own team in the company. From 2015-2019 I built up a team where we did about 10,000-12,000 dollars a month in total sales, I organized and hosted many in person events, attended multiple seminars and conventions, and built up a pretty serious repertoire of people and communication skills. Although I exited the business in late 2019, the lessons I learned have stuck with me and shaped me to this day.

5.  I began again making beach art which eventually led me to forming my Company, Piece of the Sea. This business has been a lot different from the network marketing variation of business because there is so much more back-end to work on when developing a brand. I now own the trademark nationally and have done business all over the country.

6.  Since 2020, when we got locked down over the Covid Pandemic, I got interested in trading Forex. I have been learning that since then and now do it full time along with my business.  Although I had initial success during the pandemic and made a good amount of money that was simply beginners luck. The next step is realizing that the next journey was way more difficult than the technical — overcoming the mental hurdles and growing pains.

7. I have been active in health and wellness lifestyle since 2012 and used to be a super skinny kid. I weighed 120 when I graduated high school. Now I am 165 pretty much entirely muscle gain. So that is also something I can passionately speak on.

8. Ultimately, the common vein I have noticed through my many ups and downs is following the calling God has put on your heart. I have had to make many pivots in my journey and all of them have been scary and uncertain. However, I realize with hindsight, that the outcomes have put me in exactly the spot I need to be where God wants me to be.
