This episode is one of true love and companionship between three men. Ryan Eubank and I met 16 years ago when I first started teaching at a career and technical high school. Ever since the day we met, we had an instant connection and have worked together helping students become the best versions of themselves. We also wrote a book called Molding Minds, which will be available for purchase soon.
Bryan Scott "Cornbread" and I met when he signed up for the 40 Days of Deliverance Program which started July 1st, 2021. During this program he transformed his life by being more intentional with his prayer, physical exercise, mindset, and discipline to be a better man for himself and his family.
After the 40 Days of Deliverance Program ended, which it happened to be a year of his sobriety, we shortly reconnected with a new mission, which was to drink a gallon of water a day and train for a 15k race. Unfortunately, Cornbread developed stress fractures in his hip and heel which prevented him from running the race. The most important thing is that Ryan, Cornbread and I formed a strong bond, or band of brotherhood by holding each other accountable by sending texts and using Strava to make sure we were doing our workouts.
This episode demonstrates that transformation can occur in your life if you decide to be around the "right" people in your life. I hope you enjoy the stories told and if you ever need help or support please reach out to me on Instagram @jgrdina04.
