This is not the episode we had planned for this week, but we are outraged at today's Supreme Court decision to overrule Roe v. Wade and terrified for the wide-reaching effects it may have on many areas of reproductive health, including but not limited to:
- elective termination
- termination for medical reasons
- miscarriages requiring D&C or D&E
- fertility treatments like IVF
- birth control
As an infant loss account, we are particularly attuned to the devastation of those in the TFMR community today, knowing that they experienced both an infant loss and -- technically -- an abortion.
We stand with any and everyone who has been or will be affected by this ruling, which is essentially every person with a uterus and many without.
We are also sending love to those out there who are triggered by this news. We are carrying some of your pain with you.

Things we talk about in this episode:
- Calamity, an Interview about Race and Infant Loss with Emy Collins, Bash's Mom
- TFMR is Baby Loss, an Interview with Hadley's Mom, Jill

As Long As I'm Living is a podcast about life, love, and laughter after infant loss. Judith and Alina are rebuilding Happier Ever After one day at a time despite excruciating grief and trauma and offering support to grievers of all flavors, but especially those who have lost a baby to SIDS, infant death, birth accidents, stillbirth, TFMR, ectopic pregnancy, or miscarriage.
