It is with great excitement that we release this next episode a few days earlier than usual. We are both saddened and excited at the reality of Carla’s transition to her new role with the Ministry of Education. Our school community’s loss will be our province’s gain. Since 2014, Carla has been sharing her gift of connecting and building relationships with students as Vice Principal of NBCHS. A passionate advocate for Indigenous student success and Indigenization within Education, Carla has helped to lead our school to significant improvements in the credit attainment and graduation rates of our FNMI students.
