On this episode Dr. Deatra Walsh, who is a researcher in our province joins me to have that critical conversation regarding the downloading of services to our municipalities and why we usually/always take ownership and fill in the many gaps that are created when services are left abandoned, underfunded and/or understaffed. We also chat about the push for advocating for change and why we should always ask those very important questions. Let’s not forget we need to be at the table helping make those decisions that affect our communities and it’s residents. When we have open and honest communications we will always have better manageable outcomes.
