Meet Amy, the mom and founder of Chic Studios. Originally from Canada, Amy came to Los Angeles in 2006 as a professional Makeup Artist (after spending 5+ years pursuing this career in Canada), working with private clients and with several magazines and modeling agencies. In 2009 Amy relocated to New York City and refined her knowledge and trade-skills. and opened a school for aspiring Makeup Artists, named Chic Studios. The Chic Studios brand was created out of a desire to develop a school that offered professional training, post-school resources, and the tools necessary to help Makeup Artists launch themselves into a successful career.
