Description

The Yamim Noraim, the High Holidays, start with Rosh Hashanah and end with Sukkot. Initially, while the focus of our prayers the month preceding Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur are on teshuvah, the Hoshanat prayers of Sukkot go back to temple times and focus on protecting the natural world from humans to plants, and so on.

Join Rabbi Yehoshua Geller as he explores the significance of Hoshanot in the Beit Hamikdash as אנא ה הושיעה נא would be said while surrounding the altar and how that translates to our practice of Hoshanot today.
