We saw that Dovid was saved by not having to fight with the Plishtim against the Jewish People. Tonight we will learn a story where Hashem’s “hand” is more hidden but is most definitely protecting Dovid from tragic mistakes-and reminds us that chessed doesn’t always feel good in the moment.
