Dopamine is a POWERFUL force. We see info about it all over the place nowadays. But the question is, do you actually understand how it works?
Dopamine is often known as the reward chemical... However, its much more about anticiaption than reward. Take porn for example. A guy may anticipate watching porn and relieving himself, but once finished, doesnt feel the slightest but of joy. The anticipation of what he would get riled him up, but the reward was over promised and under delivered, as porn does so well.
If we focus on anticipation and how we think about what things will get us/do for us, we would change so much of our behaviours... What you think leads to what you do.
