3,000 souls were added on that great day of Pentecost. Added to what? To the Church. These people were not merely professors of faith, but were radically transformed from being devoutly religious to being reconciled to God through the Christ they crucified. These people went on to continue in the faith, the apostles doctrine, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer and the life of the Church. They not only continued, but continued steadfastly.
