Knowing that the LORD is our Shepherd, we now come to see in the second part of this first verse of Psalm 23 that His sheep 'Shall Not Want.' Everything else that comes after this vital first verse is dependent upon our understanding that, the Shepherd leads, guides, nurtures, feeds, and protects His sheep. The Shepherd's sheep shall not want in their temporal lives, nor their spiritual lives. The Lord, The Shepherd has ample supply. For those who are not His sheep, those that are chaff, will ultimately see and acknowledge their desperate poverty. Is the Lord your Shepherd?
