Food is expensive! So I visited 7 grocery stories in the Twin Cities to answer the question: Where can I buy the cheapest groceries? Join me as I talk about my adventures, my findings, and some of the reasons people shop at the stores they do.
The stores I mention:
Walmart, Aldi, Target, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, HyVee, and Cub Foods
My "grocery list"
1 (15oz) can diced tomatoes, 1 pound organic baby carrots, 1 bag russet potatoes, 1 pound dry lentils, 1 box mac and cheese, 1 loaf "oatnut" bread, 1 package oreos, 1 roll paper towels, 1/2 gallon 1% milk, and 12oz sliced sharp cheddar cheese.
