Juanita Gonzalez was born in Bogota, Colombia, on January 27, 1971. Her parents were lawyers, but she decided to go a different route. She is an interior designer. After coming to America with only the clothes on her back, she married her husband and moved to Chicago to start her life together. Eventually, they divorced, and Juanita met the love of her life—her current husband and the father of their daughter, Victoria. While Juanita's husband is grateful that she's at home taking care of their daughter, he also allows her to take time for herself so that she can manage her business interests in Colombia—including cafeterias that were left to her by her late brother as well as properties there that she still owns. Juanita says that God has blessed her abundantly in this new country—she went from being alone in a distant country to have a great little family here in America!
