The Apostle is summoning his letter to the church. He prays it is received the way he intended. But he realizes not everyone will repent but it’s okay; he loves them just the same. He’s hoping to come to them in joy and comfort and not the hand of correction. We need to pay attention to this. The Church Discipline has to stand to keep the Bride of Christ white as snow.
