Hey, Herp A Derpers!
November kicks off the season of giving and counting our blessings. The season also brings nostalgic feelings. Feelings of longing for long-gone moments that are now memories we hold so tightly it becomes overwhelming to think about. We overthink and desire the feelings in the hope it would make us feel that great again and want to bring with us into the present moment.
We always have so many great things to be thankful for this time of year. Our loved ones, dear friends, pets, health and all the above. Something that I am especially grateful for this year is experiencing a chance to start over again. Moving away from all the above is what made me realize how much I was searching for and what I knew worked for me and I tried to find in when I was meeting new people who I just met. The little things in my life that I didn’t realize I needed until I moved away from my home. Close bonds and relationships I wanted to start failed because I wasn’t feeling close to myself. I kept distracting myself from my own problem of being lonely. Not saying I am a desperate person; I am a person who values quality time.
