She served on a plethora of committees with advocacy such as The Arc of Oklahoma Policy Council, Chair of the Family Advisory Council at the Oklahoma Children's Hospital, OU Health Spina Bifida Clinic, Parent Advocate Bethany Children's Health Center, Interagency Coordinating Council - Soonerstart Early Intervention appointed by Governor Mary Fallin in 2019 –, a parent of a child 12 and younger Governor Kevin Stitt's Sub-Education Committee 2019, Sunbeam Family Services Policy Council, John Rex Charter Policy Committee – Non-Discrimination Policy, Norman disABILITY Coalition – Community insight for Ruby Grant Park, City of Norman Parks and Recreation Department, and height adjustable universal changing tables at the city, state, and federal levels.
Good things are happening in Oklahoma City. So far there are 28 adjustable changing tables in the state of Oklahoma. That is a start but we can do much more! Audra requested YOU to contact your legislator to request universal changing stations so all individuals with disabilities can have access.
