Description

Welcome to Share The Tea Tuesday's with special guest Dr. Faith Foreman-Hays. Five years ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer while on a trip. She didn't allow the diagnosis to change her focus but was determined to learn as much as possible and understand the science of breast cancer. Cancer changes you mentally, emotionally, and physically so it is vital to have support and resources. Dr. Foreman-Hays is passionate about public health and believes in giving back to the community by serving in many capacities in her career. The most significant health disparity in women of color is not having access to screening and testing.  Women of color are not taken seriously and often overlooked which creates a barrier to being diagnosed early which helps to save lives. Listen to this segment and be inspired!
