Diet culture is so pervasive in our society. We break down some of the myths around mind/body health and happiness and how perfection is considered 'normal' but is never really achievable. 

We discuss some of the key factors of diet culture as well as how to spot 'diet culture agenda' in the fitness and wellness industry. Plus, we broach the topic of multilevel marketing 'nutrition products' that prey on people vulnerable to messaging that promises weight loss in an unattainable way that further perpetuates the ideal body myth.

Lisa opens up about her own battles with diet culture and offers some excellent advice on how individuals can ditch diet culture and learn to question their motivation for wanting to lose weight or achieve a certain body type.
